Storm Shelters
Our slope front shelters are designed and constructed with your protection in mind. They are reinforced with fiber as well as steel rebar, and they are poured with a minimum of 6,000 psi concrete. At no extra charge every storm shelter comes equipped with a double handrail on the ladder-like steps, a gas operated door closer, 8" wind turbine for ventilation and a 6" vent.
Slope Front Shelters
Our slope front shelters are available in 3 sizes: Small, Large and Jumbo

Slope Front Shelters are a great choice for tornado safety. However, be sure you have the proper clearance to allow the truck dropping off the shelter to the area you are installing the shelter. See the illustration for more information.
Our most popular model is the 6x8 slope front decorative design and we can get you one installed around or near the Canton area for $2,700.00. Rates may vary a little depending on how far out you are for hauling. The price may be slightly higher to put one in if you are more than 50 miles away, but it will still be very reasonable. Let us get you a quote for your location or if you want a larger sloped front we have those available as well.
Flat Top Shelters
Our flat top shelters are available in 2 sizes: Small and Jumbo

Flat Top Shelters are essentially the same as the slope front, but some people find them more attractive and less obtrusive, since they don't stick up as much after installation. Clearance needed by the trucks for these shelters is similar to the slope front unit.
1 Easy Access
Each flat top shelter comes with a spring pressure lift door and non-skid ladder-type stairs with safety rails.
2 Safety Rating
The Texas Tech Institute Wind Engineering and Science has certified this structure to withstand an F-5 tornado. All Hausner's Storm Shelters meet Fema 320 and ICC-500 standards.
3 Interior Dimensions
For your family's comfort, these storm shelters are made with an interior height that will accommodate most people (inside height is 6'2"). To figure what size shelter you will need, FEMA guidelines suggest 4 sq ft per person so a 6x8 shelter will hold approximately 12 people. (6x8=48 divided by 4=12)
4 Water-Tight
Hausner's Shelters are guaranteed not to leak for 10 years from the date of installation. This includes the seal where the two units are joined.
5 Placement
Hausner's includes a 6" vent, 8" turbine and stairs with double rails for each storm shelter at no extra charge!
